CHERRY VALLEY TWP.— A woman was found dead in a Lake County structure fire on Saturday evening. Lake County deputies responded to a report of a structure fire at approximately 9:21 p.m. on Saturday on Broadway Street, north of U.S. 10 in Cherry Valley Township.
First responders arrived on scene to find a travel trailer fully engulfed in flames. The body of a 65-year-old woman was found deceased inside the trailer, according to Lake County Sheriff Rich Martin.
The incident is under investigation.
