WEBBER TWP. — Webber Township Planning Commission members approved the first medical marijuana grow facility in the township during their meeting on Monday.

Canna Care will open a grow facility on Dog Track Road in Webber Township.

“After the company filled out an application for a land-use permit, we had a public hearing for a site plan review and gave them the green light. Now we will have the first medical marijuana grow facility in the township,” said planning commission member Dan Cousar.

“We are going to contact the county to figure out when we can get the facility started,” said Dan Reynolds of Canna Care. “We have a special use permit and are ready to begin.”
