BALDWIN — Santa teamed up with Webber Township Fire Department to bring joy to nearly 50 children at the local Head Start program at Five-CAP Thursday morning. Dollar General donated the toys for the fire department to distribute to the community.

Santa’s elf, Nichole Oisten, was able to take a few moments out from her job at Lake-Osceola State Bank to pass out toys to the delighted children.

Santa greeted many happy kids, one requesting a hot dog, burger, eggs and a football.

“I appreciates the generous donation of toys from Dollar General, and the Lake-Osceola Bank for allowing their employee to pass out gifts on the clock,” said Webber Township Fire Chief Aaron Summers. “Nichole wrapped the gifts, so when kids said they wanted something like a doll, she knew which one to give them, making the experience more magical.”
