Village approves water reliability study
BALDWIN — During the Village of Baldwin council meeting on Monday, council members approved moving forward with a water reliability study proposal.
The reliability study will test the condition of the village’s water infrastructure, wells and hydrants.
The village president and clerk’s signatures authorized a professional services agreement for the water reliability study to move forward.
Also during the meeting, the board approved an Act 425 resolution to allow the transfer of a property from Pleasant Plains Township jurisdiction to the Village of Baldwin jurisdiction so the property owner can be hooked up to village infrastructure.
During the fire report, Baldwin Fire Chief Jeremy Anderson said remote control events at the Baldwin Municipal Airport have gone well this summer.
He also said area residents were happy with the fireman’s water battle being back on Main Street during Troutarama, and the kids’ water battle was a great hit.
