The following actions were taken in Lake County Trial Court the week ending 5-19-14:

  • Eddie Wayne Abbott Jr., 38, of Idlewild, was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of breaking and entering-a building with intent.
  • Nichole Marie Adams, 30, of Tustin pleaded guilty to an added charge of no proof of insurance. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $150. Charges of assault/assault and battery and driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate were dismissed.
  • Edward James Agar, 40, of LeRoy, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence. A pretrial was scheduled for May 29 at 10 a.m. Bond of $5,000, ten percent was continued with a condition of no contact with the victim.
  • John Stephan Bozek, 69, of Rodney, was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of sex offender-failure to comply with report duties.
  • Cory Michael Cox, 21, of Baldwin, pleaded no contest to a charge of failure to appear and no contest to a charge of retail fraud-third degree. Sentencing was scheduled for June 3, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Bond of $2,500, ten percent was continued with a condition of no entry at Wesco.
  • Robert Walter-Allen Domingo, 25, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle without security and driving unregistered vehicle/no trailer plate. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $375 and one year in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year on count one and 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year on count two.
  • Rabecca Ann Farr-Rader, 28, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to an added charge of allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $150 and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate/second subsequent was dismissed.
  • Duane Allen Flynn, 27, of Luther, was scheduled for a probation violation hearing on May 27, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $25,000, ten percent.
  • Deanna Michele Forney, 46, of Detroit was arraigned on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of personal property less than $200 and habitual offender/second offense notice. A preliminary examination was scheduled for May 30, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $7,500, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victim.
  • Edward Lamarr Hanson, 33, of Idlewild, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly person-drunk. A criminal plea was scheduled for May 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
  • Julisa Monique Hawkins, 23, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence. A pretrial was scheduled for May 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. A surety bond of $5,00, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victim was posted.
  • Carl Lee Herring, 33, of Idlewild, was bound over to Circuit Court on two charges of breaking and entering-a building with intent, resisting & obstructing a police officer, and two charges of habitual offender-second offense notice. Bond was set at $15,000, ten percent, with a condition of no contact with the victim.
  • Fredric Kevin Hilder, 58, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence/second offense. A pretrial was scheduled for May 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. Bond was set at $5,000, ten percent, with a condition of no contact with the victim.
  • Thomas Earl Horger, 32, of White Cloud, was arraigned on a charge of controlled substance-second offense. A preliminary examination was scheduled for May 30, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $10,000, ten percent.
  • Montise William Jennings, 34, of Baldwin, was sentenced to fines and costs of $275 and 93 days in jail, to serve six days now over two weekends on an added charge of disorderly person-jostling. A charge of assault/assault and battery was dismissed.
  • Jacquelyn Marie Koegler, 31, of Branch, was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance-non narcotic. Bond was set at $2,500, ten percent.
  • William Oren Littleton, 44, of Kalamazoo, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle without security. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $375 and one year in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year.
  • James Ellis McClain, 18, of Grand Rapids, was arraigned on a charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate. A pretrial was scheduled for May 29, 2014 at 11 a.m.
  • Bonnie Sue Mullins, no date of birth, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of fugitive from justice.
  • Gerald Francis Norman, 38, of Irons, had a charge of disorderly person-drunk dismissed.
  • Kwame Shaquelle Verhulst, 20, of Muskegon, was arraigned on charges of home invasion-first degree, domestic violence, assault/assault & battery, malicious destruction of personal property less than $200 and habitual offender/second offense. A preliminary examination was scheduled for May 30, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $15,000, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victims.
  • Eric John Woods, 30, of Idlewild, was bound over to Circuit Court on two charges of breaking and entering without breaking with intent. Bond was set at $5,000, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victims.
