The following actions were taken in Lake County Trial Court the week ending June 25, 2013:

• Fawn Lorraine Bloom, 28, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to charges of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate and operating a motor vehicle without security. The defendant was sentenced to one year in jail, to serve four days now, with credit for time served and the balance at the discretion of the court over the next year, $450 fines and costs and another year in jail, to serve four days now, with credit for time served and the balance at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of driving with improper plates was dismissed.

• Ryan Lawrence Bos, 35, of Lansing, had a charge of disorderly person-drunk dismissed.

• Angelo Tyrece Brown, 34, of branch, pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault. The defendant was sentenced to one year in jail, to serve 25 days now, with credit for time served and the balance at the discretion of the court. over the next year. The no contact with the victim condition was continued. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

• F. Irwin Bryan III, 44, of White Cloud, pleaded guilty to operating impaired. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $1,100 and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

• Cheryl Lynn Chaney, 53, of Traverse City, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless driving. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $205. A charge of reckless driving was dismissed.

• Frank Anthony Charnes III, 49, of Irons had a charge of assault/assault and battery dismissed.

• Marvetta Diona Dockery, 41, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail fraud-third degree. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275, 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year and no entry to Family Dollar for one year.

• Rabecca Ann Farr-Rader, 27, of idlewild, pleaded guilty to charges of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate and operating a vehicle without security. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of$450, 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year and one year in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A second charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate was dismissed.

• Marcus William Fowle, 31, of Rockwood, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of firearms by a felon. Sentencing was scheduled for July 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

• Edward Lamarr Hanson, 32, of Idlewild, was arraigned on two charges of assault/assault and battery and a charge of indecent exposure. A pretrial was scheduled for july 11, 2013 at 9 a.m. Bond was set at $7,500, ten percent with the condition of no contact with the victims.

• Davon Isiah Hawkins, 20, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of assault/assault and battery. A pretrial was scheduled for July 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. The defendant is free on a personal recognizance bond with a condition of no contact with the victim.

• Deangelo Monroe Henderson, 24, of idlewild, was arraigned on a charge of home invasion-second degree. A preliminary examination was scheduled for July 2, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. The defendant was free on personal recognizance bond.

• Deangelo Monroe Henderson, 24, of idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of failure to stop at the scene of a property damage accident. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275, 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year and $225 in victim’s restitution.

• Troy Douglas Henney, 28, of Branch, pleaded guilty to no valid operators license in possession. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275 and 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate was dismissed.

• Christopher John Hesse, 43, of Newaygo, pleaded guilty to operating with a high blood alcohol content. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $1,150 and 180 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. Charges of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle/passenger were dismissed.

• Leeann Hesse, 56, of Newaygo, pleaded guilty to possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle/passenger. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275, 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year, and six months unsupervised probation.

• Karen Ann Johnson, 40, of Irons, had a charge of assault/assault and battery dismissed.

• Dolores Rose Libey, 34, of Luther, had a charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate dismissed.

• James Allen Mansfield, 47, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate-second subsequent offense. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $375 and one year in jail at the discretion of the court.

• Kevin Shawn McCune, 56, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $1,150 and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of operating with a high blood alcohol content was dismissed.

• Kenneth Lee Miller, 52, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence. Bond was set at $7,500, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victim. A criminal plea date was set for June 24, 2013.

• Kenneth Lee Miller, 52, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence. The defendant was sentenced to 93 days in jail, to serve 30 now, with credit for time served and the balance at the discretion of the court over the next year.

• Kenneth Lee Miller, 52, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence/second offense. Bond was set at $7,500, ten percent with a condition of no contact with the victim. A criminal plea date was set for June 24, 2013.

• Kenneth Lee Miller, 52, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence/second offense. The defendant was sentenced to 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year.

• Richard Austen Minga, 20, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. A pretrial was scheduled for July 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Bond of $3,500, ten percent, was posted.

• Richard Austen Minga, 20, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of disposal of refuse at a non-licensed facility-solid waste. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275.

• Steven Russell Montgomery, 51, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of assault/assault and battery. A pretrial was scheduled for July 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. Bond was set at $7,500, ten percent, with a condition of no contact with the victim.

• Kali Ann Perfitt, 18, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. A pretrial was scheduled for June 20, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. the defendant was free on personal recognizance bond.

• Chad Gregory Phillips, 34, of Chase, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and domestic violence. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $450, one year in jail, to serve 3 days now, with credit for time served and the balance at the discretion of the court over the next year, license suspended for six months with a restricted license after 30 days, and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of possession of a controlled substance-non-narcotic, was dismissed.

• Kevin Raphael Robertson, 20, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of disturbing the peace. The defendant was sentenced to 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

• Kevin Raphael Robertson, 20, of Idlewild, had charges of malicious destruction of property, $200 or more, but less than $1,000 and assault/assault and battery dismissed.

• Kevin Raphael Robertson, 20, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault/assault and battery. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $350 and 90 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year, and victims restitution of $250 from a previous case. The no contact condition is continued.

• Robert James Sorenson, 28, of Custer, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating an ORV-impaired. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $1,100 and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of operating impaired was dismissed.

• Robert John Sowle, 27, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence. The defendant was sentenced to 90 days in jail, to serve 30 now, with the no contact condition continued. A charge of domestic violence-second offense was dismissed.

• Patricia Eileen Tjapkes, 30, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of child abuse-fourth degree. The defendant was sentenced to one year in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. A charge of child abuse-third degree was dismissed.

• Patricia Eileen Tjapkes, 30, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $375, license suspended for six months with a restricted license after 30 days and one year in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year.

• Daniel Louis Verburg, 45, of Irons, pleaded no contest to a charge of assault/assault and battery. The defendant was sentenced to fines and costs of $275 and 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court over the next year. The no contact with the victim condition was continued.

• Rion Christopher White, 19, of Big Rapids, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance-marijauna. A pretrial was scheduled for June 20, 2013 at 9 a.m. The defendant was free on personal recognizance bond.

The following Department of Natural Resources violations were recorded during the month of May, 2013:

• Daniel Glenn Rigoni, of South Haven, was fined $355 for operating an ORV with a suspended/revoked license.

• James Jeffery, of Sparta, was fined $80 for use of a vehicle in a closed area of State land.

• Amanda Lynn Simmons, of LeRoy, was fined $465 for operating an ORV in a closed area/erosive violation.

• Marlin Lee Koetje, of Augusta, was fined $75 for failure to license an ORV.

• Steven Lee Galloup, of Luther, was fined $265 for operating an ORV in a closed area.

• Clarence Ernest Hahn Jr., of Midland, was fined $230 for unattended lines.

• Ronald Lee Reurink, of Luther, was fined $213 for burning without a permit.
