Trial Court for Feb. 24

The following actions were taken in Lake County trial court for the week ending Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011:

• Wendy Renee Vickery, 48, of Irons, pleaded guilty to a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $790 and to serve two days; two days now (CTS) and the balance at the discretion of the court over a period of 12 months probation.

• Patricia Thelma Lehnen, 43, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of having no valid operator’s license in her possession. A charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate (second or subsequent offense) was dismissed. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $250 and to serve 93 days; two weekends or 32 hours community service work now and the balance at the discretion of the court within one year.

• Tyrone Tee Haynes, 52, of Baldwin, pleaded no contest to a charge of third-degree retail fraud. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $250 and to serve 93 days at the discretion of the court within one year.

• Aisha Laja Eastling, 31, of Baldwin, had a guilty plea to a charge of domestic violence deferred for a period of six months unsupervised probation. The defendant will pay a $350 oversight fee.

• Anthony Kelly Walker, 21, of White Cloud, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating impaired. A charge of alcohol possession in a motor vehicle (passenger) was dismissed. The defendant was sentenced to serve 93 days at the discretion of the court within one year.
