Carolyn Amber Abernathy, 28, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to one count of uttering and publishing, had two counts of uttering and publishing dismissed and had a count of credit card altering or forgery dismissed. Was ordered to pay $798 in fines and costs and was sentenced to 12 months in jail at the court's discretion with a credit of 64 days, to serve 116 now.

John Stephan Bozek, 71, of Rodney, pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated — third degree and had a charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate without a license and a charge of habitual offender — fourth offense dismissed. Was ordered to pay $798 in fines and costs and was sentenced to 12 months in jail at the court's discretion with a credit of 148 days to serve 217 days now.

James Russell Cross, 25, of Irons, pleaded guilty to a charge of home invasion — third degree and had a charge of home invasion — second degree dismissed. Was ordered to pay $500 in fines and costs and was sentenced to six months in jail at the court's discretion with 52 days credited, to serve eight now.

Steve Charles Decator, 61, of Evart, pleaded guilty to a count of operating while intoxicated/impaired — second degree and to a count of driving without a license/license suspended. A count of operating while intoxicated — third degree was dismissed. Was sentenced to serve 730 days in jail at the court's discretion and to pay fines and costs of $1,150.

Timothy Shane Fullerton, 28, of Luther, was arraigned for two counts of assault/assault and battery and one count of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail, to serve seven now and to pay $700 in fines and costs.

Tina June Marie Thorne Gray, 44, of Baldwin, was arraigned on charges of criminal sexual conduct — victim under 13, defendant 17 years or older, furnishing contraband for prisoners, domestic violence, and accosting a child for immoral purposes. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 8.

Devin Justin Hallenbeck, 18, of Baldwin, was found guilty of assault/assault and battery and had a charge of aggravated assault dismissed. Was sentenced to 93 days in jail at the court's discretion to serve nine now over three weekends.

Mark Jerome Johnson, 60, of Idlewild, was bound over to circuit court for charges of breaking and entering without breaking — with intent, rec and con — stolen property, and habitual offender — second offense.

Scott Wesley Johnson, 47, of Bitely, was charged with trespass or removal of property and pretrial is set for 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 17.

Bobbi Jean Latty, 37, of Bitely, was charged with two counts of uttering and publishing. A preliminary exam is set for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15.

Tammy Raye Leon, 48, of White Cloud, had one charge of operating a motor vehicle without security dismissed.

Robert L. Moore, 47, of Luther, was charged with one count of hunting deer without a valid license and one count of wildlife conservation — failure o wear hunting orange. Pretrial is set for 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 17.

Justin Michael Pobanz of Cadillac, was bound over to circuit court with charges of possession of a controlled substance — non-narcotic and a count of possession of a controlled substance — marijuana.

Peter Bowie Salerno, 19, of Newaygo, was bound over to circuit court  for a charge of possession of a non-narcotic substance. Bond was posted at $10,000, 10 percent.

Jeffrey Louis Shoemaker, 40, of Chase, was arraigned on charges of domestic violence — third offense, interfering with electronic communications, assault by strangulation, and habitual offender — third degree. Case was dismissed.

Linsey Smith, 53, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to retail fraud — third degree — attempted and had one count of retail fraud — third degree dismissed. Was ordered to serve 90 days at the court's discretion.

Benjamin Wayne Valley, 34, of Tustin pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving and one count of alcohol possession in a motor vehicle — passenger, and had one count of operating while intoxicated/impaired — second degree dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail at the court's discretion and had to pay $560 in fines and costs.

Jacob Royal Wilkins, 20, of Luther, was convicted of one count of larceny — less than $200, and had a count of trespass dismissed. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail at the discretion of the court.

Jody Lynn Yerian, 50, of Fountain, pleaded guilty to one count of operating while intoxicated and was found guilty of one count of operating impaired. Was ordered to pay fines and costs of $1,100.

Calvin Juan Young, 53, of Idlewild, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence and had one count of domestic violence — second offense dismissed. Was sentenced to serve 93 days in jail at the court's discretion, to serve nine now.
