LAKE COUNTY — Voters in Lake County will have an opportunity to get acquainted with and try out the new voting machines they will see at the polls on Aug. 7.

The Lake County Clerk’s Office will be on hand to educate voters how to use the new voting equipment, which includes a tabulator with a touch-screen and the ability to print off ballots.

The free event is sponsored by the Lake County Democratic Party, but is open to all voters in Lake County who want to become more familiar with the new equipment before Election Day.

The training session will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at Webber Township Hall, 2286 W. Springtime Street, Baldwin.
