TRIAL COURT - 4-28-2011

The following actions were taken in Lake County trial court for the week ending Thursday, Apr. 14:

• Ken Vincent Tetzlaff, 40, of Baldwin, was bound over to circuit court on charges of OWI (third offense) and of being an habitual offender (fourth offense). Bond was set at $50,000. The defendant was currently lodged.

• Robert Lewis Jamison, 52, of Baldwin, pleaded not guilty to a charge of larceny by conversion less than $1,000. Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $3,500. The defendant was currently lodged.

• Jeremiah Edward Perez, 31, of Allegan, was arraigned on a charge of larceny less than $200. Bond was set at $3,500.

• Stefanie Lynn Thompson, 28, of Baldwin, pleaded not guilty to a charge of larceny less than $200. Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 2 p.m. Bond was set at $3,500. The defendant was currently lodged.

• Michael Lee Oisten, 30, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening a Department of Human Services employee with physical harm. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $250 and to serve one year; five days or 40 hours community service work now.

The following actions were taken in Lake County trial court for the week anding Thursday, Apr. 21, 2011:

• Clyde Vernard West, 69, of Baldwin, was arraigned on charges of OWI, operating a motor vehicle without security, alcohol possession in a motor vehicle (passenger), and of having improper plates. Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 1:30 p.m. Bond was set at $3,500. The defendant was currently lodged.

• Brenda Ann Rohde, 39, of Lake City, pleaded guilty to charges of OWI and of alcohol possession in a motor vehicle (passenger). Sentencing was scheduled for May 16 at 1:30 p.m. The defendant is free on $7,500 bond.

• Anna Marie Hawke, 35, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of use of a non-narcotic controlled substance. Sentencing was scheduled for May 2 at 1:30 p.m. The defendant is free on personal recognizance bond.

• Rhonda Kae Krenz, 52, of Baldwin, was arraigned on charges of larceny less than $200 and of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 2 p.m. The defendant is free on $2,500 bond.

• Kyle Michael Himes, 24, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of driving while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate (second or subsequent offense). Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 9 a.m. The defendant is free on $3,500 bond.

• David Richard Smith, 30, of Baldwin, had charges of domestic violence and malicious destruction of a building less than $200 dismissed.

• James Curtis Blue, 54, of Baldwin, was arraigned on a charge of altering/forging or falsifying plate. Pretrial was scheduled for May 5 at 1:30 p.m. The defendant is free on $1,000 bond.

• Jeremiah Edward Perez, 31, of Allegan, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny less than $200. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $250 and to serve 93 days; eight days now (CTS) and the balance at the discretion of the court within one year.

• James Donald Bloom, 28, of Baldwin, had a charge of domestic violence dismissed.

• David George Tuttle, 42, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence. The defendant was sentenced to serve 93 days; 34 (CTS) and the balance at the discretion of the court within one year.

• Bert Marvin Bossardet, no DOB, of Linden, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a snowmobile on the shoulder of a state highway. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $130.

• Nicholas Everett Mansfield, no DOB, of Big Rapids, had a charge of having no snowmobile certificate on his person dismissed.

• Brian Duane Acker, no DOB, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a snowmobile while his license was suspended or revoked. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $280.

• Jack Roger Purdy II, no DOB, of Lincoln Park, admitted responsibility to a charge of failing to obtain a trail permit. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $90.

• Kasey Robert Kyser, no DOB, of Irons, pleaded guilty to a charge of having an unregistered snowmobile. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $130.

• Travis Dean Bergman, no DOB, of Grand Haven, admitted responsibility to a charge of failing to license an ORV. The defendant was sentenced to pay fines and costs of $75.
