LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is one of many local groups and organizations to recently receive grant money, thanks to the Lake County Community Foundation.

The sheriff’s office was awarded three grants from the LCCF, an affiliate of Fremont Area Community Foundation, totaling $3,900.

There grants were specifically applied for and to by used to purchase buoyancy compensation equipment for the dive team and a laser device for speed enforcement.
