Secretary of State website debuts new look

LANSING —Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today that the website at has a new streamlined look and feel, with easier-to-read pages and colorful graphics.

“I invite you to spend a few minutes looking over our website to experience our fresh look,” Johnson said. “The redesigned site will help you find the information you need more quickly to better assist you in doing business with us.”

The main page features the most significant changes with categories now marked by graphics and social media links provided clearly on the right navigation. Johnson noted that the growing popularity of social media allows the department to reach its customers with an immediacy not available in more traditional forms of communication. Expandable menus connect users to the most frequently-visited pages and online services while providing links to popular forms and documents. Visitors can also easily keep up with the latest news and headlines.
