Sanders graduates with honors
Maxwell Sanders graduated cum laude on May 18, 2014 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is the son of Robert and Kimberly Sanders of Baldwin. Max graduated from Baldwin High School in 2007 as Valedictorian. In 2011, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Science in Legal Studies from Ferris State University.
While at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, he served as a Student Attorney in the Estate Planning Clinic under MCR 8.120, where he drafted estate-planning documents for elderly citizens of Oakland County. Additionally, he was an Associate Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law; interned for Judge Hartig at the 52/4 District Court in Troy, MI; and had the privilege of working as a Teaching Assistant for the Wills, Trusts, and Estates course.
He is currently preparing to sit for the July 2014 Michigan Bar Exam. He and his wife live in Auburn Hills, MI.
