Rise and shine to another day

Another Day

Another day of happiness,

Another day of love,

Another day to thank the Lord

For blessings from above.

Another day of happiness,

Another day of care,

Another day of finding joy

And bowing down in prayer.

Another day of happiness,

Another day of hope,

Another day to call on God

And find the strength to cope.

Another day of happiness,

Another day of peace,

Another day to serve the Lord

And find our sweet release.

Rise and Shine

Let’s gladly welcome each day.

Let’s help our neighbors along the way.

Each day it’s up to us to choose.

So why not be happy? What’s to lose?

If we treat each other as we wish to be treated,

Some major problems will be defeated.

Each of us can do our part,

And right now is the time to start.
