Lit Provisioning Center to sell variety of marijuana products
EVART — Lit Provisioning Centers announced its store in Evart will become northwest Michigan's first adult-use marijuana retail location, when it opens for recreational consumers Friday.
Lit, 600 W. 7th St., offers a variety of marijuana products; including flowering buds, pre-rolled products, edibles and concentrates.
Lit will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with a formal ribbon-cutting set for 10 a.m.
Lit sells marijuana products produced by Lume Cannabis Company. Lume also operates Lume Kalamazoo and plans to open nine additional stores across the state by the end of 2020.
“Our No.1 priority is providing safe, high-quality cannabis products to patients and recreational consumers across Michigan,” said Doug Hellyar, president and chief operating officer of Lume. “Our commitment to customer service and customer education drives our decision-making and philosophy and we are excited to provide our customers with an amazing experience on our first day and every day going forward.
“All of our products are grown locally and cultivated in our state-of-the-art facility by our highly-trained team of experienced growers,” Hellyar continued. “This allows us to ensure our broad flower offering has consistent aromas, appearances and effects, which our patients have come to appreciate.”
