It was a busy month of July at the Pathfinder Community Library. More than 55 children and young adults participated in our Wednesday Story Hour where we read stories, did crafts and watched movies.

The last day we had a pirate party and had ice cream for a treat! A HUGE thank you to the Baldwin Dairy Queen for their continued support of Pathfinder Library Story Hour. A Reading contest also was held in the month of July at the Pathfinder Library. Fifty-six children and young adults checked out 1,154 books! Wow! Each week participants were given a certificate for a free ice cream cone from Baldwin Dairy Queen if they made their book quota. All winners of the contest were awarded prizes, and the winners are:
  •  Pre-kindergarten — Donnie Harris, 93 books
  •  Grades first and second — Maggie Prina, 54 books
  •  Grades third and fourth — Gabriel Vandergeld, 50 books
  •  Grades fifth and sixth — Elijah Vandergeld, 40 books
  •  Grades seventh and eighth — Gabriel Johnson, 7 books
  •  Grades ninth through 12th — Valerie Hasbrouck, 21 books
