Newaygo woman no longer missing

NEWAYGO — A Newaygo woman is no longer considered missing after she recently made contact with her family.

Kathleen Lynn Overzet, 42, was reported missing by her family after she had not been seen since July 6. However, Overzet has recently been in contact with her family and is no longer considered a missing person, according to a press release issued Friday from the Michigan State Police Hart Post. An officer at the post declined to provide further details when questioned about the matter.

No foul play was involved in her disappearance, the release also stated.
