Newaygo woman missing since Saturday


NEWAYGO — Police are asking the public for help in locating a Newaygo woman who has been reported missing by her family.

Members of the Michigan State Police Hart Post are searching for Kathleen Lynn Overzet, 42, after her family reported her missing. She has not been seen since Saturday, and foul play is not suspected.

Overzet is described as a white, 5-foot-2-inch tall female. She weighs approximately 145 pounds, has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair is reported to be shoulder length. She has a tattoo of a feather on her right ear and another tattoo of a McDonald’s arch on her left calf.

Anyone who has seen Overzet, knows of her whereabouts or has any information is asked to contact D/Sgt. Johnson of the Michigan State Police Hart Post at (231) 873-2171 or their local law enforcement agency.
