LUTHER — With three weeks under her belt as the new director for Luther Area Public Library, Heather Morche, of McBain, feels at home in Luther.

“I love this job so far and getting to know the people here,” she said. “I especially love working with the kids. It is a great community — a lot like McBain. Everyone knows everyone, a tight-knit community. You don’t find that a lot anymore.”

Morche says the Luther Area Public Library has a lot to offer, including a craft club, a quilt club, after school programs, storytime and more.

“This library brings people together. Me and other staff members strive to be positive role models for the kids. This is a community resource, a great thing to still have these days,” she added.
