BALDWIN — More than 100 community members came out to support the Pathfinder Community Library at their annual dinner fundraiser on Saturday at VFW Post No. 5315.

Guests enjoyed a steamy plate of home-cooked spaghetti with all the fixings and homemade deserts. They also were entertained with door prizes, a silent auction and a silver dollar grab bag.

“We have been very busy,” said Beth Ann Blass-Murphy, one of the servers. “We have had many requests for (librarian) Bonnie Povilaitis’ secret sauce.”

Girl Scouts also helped wait tables for the first time at the event.

“We are so grateful to people who turned out in such great numbers to support the library and make this a successful event,” said Kathy Oostmeyer, president of the Pathfinder Community Library Board.
