Lake County Sheriff’s Office to host future Hunter Safety classes
LAKE COUNTY — Beginning in September, Michigan Department of Natural Resources Hunter Safety will be hosted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Lake County Sheriff Rich Martin said this is the first time the sheriff’s office is putting on the class.
“One of my goals after taking office was to offer DNR Hunter Safety courses though the department,” Martin said. “We already offer ORV, snowmobile and marine safety courses for the DNR. This will be our first Hunter Safety course ever at LCSO.”
A DNR Hunter Safety Class will be scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 and Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
There will be a maximum of 49 seats available. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for scheduling or more information.
