BALDWIN — A successful junior high football season ended for Baldwin on Oct. 17 with a 43-6 home win over Grand Traverse Academy.

It was a running clock in the second half.

Carmelo Lindsay, Kalito McKinney and Aveon Hobbs scored for Baldwin. Lindsey also scored some extra points,

“We changed the defense up a little bit and put on more pressure,” Baldwin coach Mark Zajac said.

The Panthers ended the junior high season at 4-2.

“We lost to Marion twice,” Zajac said. “Our goal next year will be to get them. We only had five eighth graders. We will have 13 seventh graders coming back and hopefully will pick up some sixth graders from this year who will be eighth graders.”
