Four meet in Miss Lake County contest

Four talented and charming young ladies will be taking part in the Miss Lake County competition this year during the annual Troutarama celebration.

Judging will be held Friday, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wenger Pavilion.

The four contestants include:

• Abigail Wheeler, daughter of Rod and Tracy Wheeler.

Abigail’s hobbies include volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, Student Council, National Honor Society, and working with the yearbook staff.

Her plan for the future involves continuing her education after high school and pursuing her dream to become a neo-natal nurse.

Abigail is sponsored by Wheeler’s Wolf Lake Sawmill.

• Jessica Caraballo, daughter of Julie Stutzman.

Jessica’s hobbies include volleyball, softball, singing in her church choir, Kids Club Youth Group, and taking part in musical engagements.

Jessica plans to continue her education after high school and major in music performance. She plans to utilize her degree to advance her singing career.

• Kaitlyn Bolles, daughter of Doug and Tanya Bolles

Kaitlyn’s hobbies include volleyball, bowling, serving as class president, and class secretary,. She was on the Homecoming Court for two years and is the videographer of BHS football games.

Kaitlyn plans to continue her education after her time served in the National Coast Guard. She is interested in pursuing a degree as either a photographer or physical therapist.

• Shavonne Copeland, daughter of Yolanda Lewis.

Shavonne’s hobbies include basketball, volleyball, track, serving as president of SADD, being involved in the Big Brother/Big Sister program, singing in the choir, and volunteering at St. Ann.

After graduating in 2012, Shavonne, plans to attend a four year university and major in law and journalism. Her dream is to receive her PH. D.
