Food for thought

Did you notice that recently the temperature was 32? Here it is, the middle of May, and it is still freezing. That’s what happens when you live in northern Michigan. You get all four seasons in the same month!  Sometimes in the same week.

Congratulations are in order for Shellee Syrewicze, who graduated from CMU with her MBA, and Emilee Syrewicze, who will be graduating from Vermont Law School with her Juris Doctorate.  Debbie and Lee, you must be so proud of these two talented girls. Emilee will be spending the summer studying for her bar exam, and I am sure Shellee will be spending the summer planning her August Wedding.

Sounds like a busy summer for the whole Syrewicze family.

Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year.

How long a minute is depends on what side of the bathroom door you’re on.

Happiness comes through doors you didn’t even know you left open.

Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than the people who have to wait for them?

You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors ... but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Thought for the week: We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

Have a great week.
