Family Health Care welcomes new physician assistant in Baldwin

BALDWIN — Family Health Care is pleased to announce Matt Steel, PA-C has joined its office at 1615 Michigan Avenue in Baldwin.

Steel completed his Bachelor of Science at Michigan State University in Lansing, and his Masters of Biomedical Science and Clinical Medical Science at Barry University in Miami. Matt has more than 12 years of experience in emergency medicine and three years of experience in primary and urgent care.

“I enjoy the challenge and personal rewards of practicing quality and compassionate medical care,” Steel said. “I am excited to be part of the patient-centered team at Family Health Care.”

Steel joins the medical team in Baldwin, in providing primary care services to the community including annual exams, immunizations, general medicine and preventative care.

In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor adventuring, snowmobiling, handyman projects, welding, metal fabrication and spending time with family and friends.

For the past 50 years, Family Health Care has focused on meeting the needs of its communities by growing and expanding services to provide rural residents with access to medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, behavioral health and laboratory and radiology services close to where they live.

We are open to new patients, and walk-ins are welcome. The Baldwin office is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
