Disease prevention and management educator hired by MSU extension
MECOSTA COUNTY — Pam Daniels has been hired by Michigan State University Extension as the Disease Prevention and Management Educator.
Daniels, who will be based out of the Mecosta County MSU extension office in Big Rapids, also will provide educational program coverage for Wexford, Missaukee, Osceola, Clare, Gladwin and Isabella counties.
Daniels will provide education for those challenged with a chronic illness or at high risk related to the diabetes disease. She will help participants learn how to manage their chronic illness and also how to prevent the complicating condition of diabetes from developing.
Daniels earned her Master’s degree in Human Service Health and Wellness Counseling from Liberty College. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
