Community invited to participate in student-led food drive
BALDWIN — Baldwin High School students are reaching out to their community this holiday season. The Baldwin Senior High School Student Council is beginning its annual food drive from now until Dec. 13 for the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Baldwin.
Students are encouraged to donate food items, and in some classes, they earn extra credit for their donations. Community donations also are accepted and can be dropped off in the high school office.
"Dry items and canned goods are accepted as long as they are labeled and are not leaking/rusty. Monetary donations also will be accepted in the high school office," said Stewart Nasson, counselor. "Thank you for supporting your community."
