Civic Forum to take place on Nov. 3

LAKE COUNTY—Lake County is teaming up with Mason, Newaygo and Oceana counties to build an economic blue print for the region. Members of Leaders Economic Aliance Development (LEAD) will host a Civic Forum from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, located at the Hart City Hall, 407 S. State St., Hart.

The Lake County Economic Development Alliance is involved with a LEAD grant for the USDA, and LCED members, County Administrator Tobi Lake, and Commissioner Barb Stenger will represent Lake County at the Civic Forum.

“Community leaders from every corner of Lake County are invited to attend the Public Forum on Nov 3, to share their views. This input is critical to establish a plan of action that will promote not only Lake County’s  but the region’s economies,” Stenger said.

“The goal of this forum is to build and expand relationships with our surrounding counties, explore ways to build the economy through expanded partnerships, establish a plan of action and implement that plan,” she said.
