LAKE COUNTY — Area residents now have an opportunity to tour dazzling sites decked out with holiday themes. Free Christmas light tour maps are now available at Baldwin Lumber.

Families can take a nighttime drive to see various places lit up, with the locations shown in the light tour map. Sponsored by Baldwin Lumber, this is a new local holiday attraction.

The holiday light route is a loop which begins and ends at the world’s largest brown trout sculpture in the village of Baldwin and includes 18 stops between Baldwin and Idlewild.

In conjunction, area residents are invited to gather from 6 to 8 p.m. on the shortest day of the year, Dec. 21, at Hollister Park in Baldwin for hot cocoa and marshmallows, carols and a bonfire tended by the Baldwin, Pleasant Plains and Webber fire departments. The hot cocoa will be provided by Baldwin Lumber.
