BALDWIN — Baldwin will launch the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 19, during the 11th Annual Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Baldwin Area Arts and Action Council. Santa will be in attendance.

The line up for the parade begins at noon behind the courthouse and the parade will commence at 1 p.m. People are encouraged to make a float or dress in a seasonal costume.

Immediately following the parade, there will be Christmas caroling at Wenger Pavilion. Hot chocolate, cider and cookies will be served.

There also will be free horse-drawn carriage rides from noon to 3 p.m., a children’s Christmas ornament craft at the Baldwin Business Center and games for kids at the Pleasant Plains Township Hall following the parade.

Downtown shops will have holiday open houses during the festivities.
