BALDWIN — Christmas time is coming to Baldwin — the community is invited to get into the holiday spirit this weekend with the annual Christmas parade and festivities downtown.

The parade begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, the route commencing at the Lake County Courthouse south down M-37, turning at Bowling Alley east to Santa's Stop at Wenger Pavilion.

Kids will get to visit Santa and get their pictures taken with him, while warming up with hot cocoa and hot dogs. Children will be given stuffed animals.

Horse-pulled wagon rides also are sure to delight those who come out, through 3 p.m.

People can also browse for great items in business shops downtown, as the event is in conjunction with the Baldwin Business Holiday Open House.

This year's organizer, Lisa Poole-Woldring, is excited for the events to bring holiday cheer downtown and to offer the community and local businesses a spectacular time to look forward to.
