BALDWIN — With the snow falling and Christmas fast approaching, that means it's once again time for Baldwin's annual Breakfast with Santa.

Kids are invited to come down to the St. Ann's Senior Center with their families to get a good meal, pick out a toy donated by The INC Spot in Reed City, and, of course, tell old St. Nick what they want under the tree this year.

"Breakfast will start at 9 a.m. and we will be serving scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, sausage links, fruit cups, juice and milk," said LeeAnn Russell, who is organizing the event. "It's open to everyone and it should be a nice festive time for families."

The meal with begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the St. Ann's Senior Center. The event is offered by the Baldwin Area Arts and Action Council, which organizes the festivities and cooks up breakfast for those in attendance. The money for the event comes out of the BAAAC budget from its monthly Taste of Lake County dinners.

"It's fun," remarked Russell. "We love to see the kids have fun and meet Santa. We'll keep doing this as long as we can because it's one more thing for the people of the Baldwin area can enjoy."

This is the tenth year Breakfast with Santa has been organized in Baldwin. Last year approximately 200 people attended the event and organizers are hoping to meet or exceed those numbers for this year's breakfas
