Book buzz: Halloween party set for Oct. 29

The staff of the Pathfinder Library will be hosting a Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be crafts, a movie and treats. Come and join the fun.

We are happy to announce that you can pick up free books from the Pathfinder Library at Sweetfern Cafe and Emporium, located at 7595 W. 5 Mile Rd., Irons. Stop by northern Lake County friends and pick up some free books.

We have plenty of “League of Women Voters of Michigan” voter guides available for the general election on Nov. 8. Stop by and pick one up.
