Baldwin runners take fourth place

BALDWIN — Baldwin's cross country team was sixth in the West Michigan D League jamboree on Sept. 13.

For Baldwin, freshman Leonard McNeeley was 27th (22:59) and sophomore Dexter Hossler was 28th (23:03). Ryan Kolenbrander (31:30) was 47th, Jeremiah Franklin (31:41) was 47th, and Dylan Hibma was 49th (32:09).

Also running for Baldwin are Liam Crenshaw, Logan Heisen, HB Nichols and Devin Wheatley.

Baldwin was scheduled to run at Mason County Eastern on Wednesday and will be at Bear Lake on Oct. 4 for the league championship race.

Baldwin coach Rob Atwood said his team continues to cut its times.

This is the first season of Baldwin cross country in almost 10 years.
