Baldwin Family Health Care employee honored

LANSING — At the Michigan Primary Care Association’s (MPCA) 34th annual awards ceremony held Aug. 6, the nonprofit association representing Michigan Health Centers, honored Anne Featherstone, human resources director at Baldwin Family Health Care, for her distinguished service.

The MPCA Distinguished Service Award recognizes commitment, dedication, and outstanding service on behalf of Michigan Health Center patients.

“Baldwin Family Health Care has been blessed with an exceptional friend and an excellent human resources director in Anne,” said Kim Sibilsky, Michigan Primary Care Association chief executive officer. “She is tireless in her work and truly committed to the work of health centers in providing quality care to all. In her role at Baldwin Family Health Care she has touched every department and nearly every aspect of its operations, and has been instrumental in recruiting quality professionals to serve the local community.”

Baldwin Family Health Care provides primary and preventive health care to residents of Lake, Newaygo, Wexford and Missaukee Counties. It is one of Michigan’s 35 Health Center organizations that together operate more than 220 sites across the state, providing care to more than 600,000 patients each year regardless of insurance status or income. Michigan Health Centers are part of a nationwide network of Health Centers that serve the primary health care needs of more than 22 million individuals in more than 9,000 locations from coast to coast.c
