BOOK BUZZ: Summer reading contest starts July 1

There will be an outdoor bake sale and indoor book sale, one day only on Friday, July 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stop by and pick up some great books at fabulous prices and delicious goodies for the holiday weekend. We will be closed Monday, July 4.

The Summer Reading Contest at the Pathfinder Community Library will start July 1 and end Aug. 1. Grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest to kids who read the most books overall in their age group. Certificates for a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen will be awarded to: Children from pre-k through fourth grade who read four books in one week, fifth through 12th graders who read six books in one week (limit one certificate per child per week). Pick up your registration form at the front desk – all forms must be turned in by Aug. 1 to qualify for the Grand Prizes. Come and join the fun!
