In honor of National Library Week, the Pathfinder Community Library will host “Pet Food for Fines” from April 8-14.

Bring in NEW pet items with your overdue books, movies, or music CDs and we will waive fines on that item. This does not apply to current fines on your account. All proceeds will be given to the Lake County animal shelter, which encourages donations of kitty litter, dry cat food and dry dog food, and dog and cat treats. They do not need collars, leashes, or blankets. (1 large bag of food or litter will cancel out fines on up to 5 books or movies. What a great way to wipe out your fines and benefit the local animal shelter. Please check your home, your cottage, your car – help your library by bringing those overdue items back.
