By Bonnie Povialitis Pathfinder Library Director Dear Friends, Two years ago, the Pathfinder Library Board members started planning for new flooring for the library. After much research and discussion, we are at the point it will happen! Thanks to a wonderful donation of a $5,000 matching grant by a very gracious family and all the wonderful people who answered this challenge, we are there. Total cost of removing the old carpeting and installing new carpeting is around $12,000. We now have $11,500 in the carpet fund. The library staff and board members are so very overwhelmed with all the generous donations by our supporters. We hope to have the work done in January of 2016. Thanks to each and everyone of you for your love and support of our library. Just a reminder that our Christmas Open House at the Pathfinder Library will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Crafts and snacks will be provided along with a visit from Santa Claus! Come and join the fun!
