By Sharon Wolfe Special to the Star December is our "Food for Fines" drive at the Pathfinder Library! Anyone who has an overdue item from the library can bring it back with a non-perishable food item and not pay overdue fines. This does not take away already accrued fines, however. All donations will be given to our local food pantry. Our Christmas Open House will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Santa Claus will make an appearance along, and there will also be snacks and a Christmas craft table where kids can make something special for the holidays. We are seeking donations of new stuffed toys or Beanie Babies to be given out. See Bonnie Povilaitis for details.
