By Sharon Wolfe Special to the Star The staff from the Pathfinder Library would like to wish all of you a safe and happy Thanksgiving!\u00a0 We hope your day is filled with family, good friends, good food and a good book! The Pathfinder Library is once again having its annual "Food for Fines" drive.\u00a0 Anyone who has an overdue item from the library can bring it back with a food item and not pay overdue fines.\u00a0 This will be in effect for the whole month of December. This does not take away already accrued fines.\u00a0 All food will be donated to the Bread of Life Food Pantry.\u00a0 For questions, please call the library at (231) 745-4010. Our Christmas open house will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.\u00a0 A visit from Santa Claus is scheduled from the North Pole, and kids can make a holiday craft. Snacks will also be provided.\u00a0 We are seeking donations of new stuffed toys or Beanie Babies to be given out.
