IDLEWILD — Those who appreciate fashion and good food came together for an afternoon of fun on Sunday, Aug. 12, during the annual Idlewild Lot Owners Association Fashion Brunch in Idlewild.

Models presented a fashion show showcasing brand-named clothing from Pandora’s Box and Pandora’s Box Two, in Baldwin, and Ferris State University provident catering services. After the show, guests were invited to shop for clothing items featured in the show for the first time in the event’s history, said Darcie Maldonado, owner of Pandora’s Box and Pandora’s Box Two.

The program, Brunch with a Flair, celebrated the 96th anniversary of the Idlewild Lot Owners Association. Lunch was provided by Pere Marquette Catering and a fashion show was hosted by Linda McClure of the Red Rooster in Idlewild, and Darcie Maldonado, of clothing stores Pandora’s Box and Pandora’s Box Two, in Baldwin.

The event is hosted by the Idlewild Lot Owner’s Association, which has been functioning in Idlewild for 97 years.

An award show to highlight local civic achievements also were part of the event.
